Why does my notification include a time that's not included in notification message template?

When using a notification message template to send consistent notifications for alarms, you may notice a timestamp at the start of the notification that isn't in the template.

This is due to an outgoing email setting, and can be suppressed.
To remove the timestamp: Enable the "Suppress current time in the email message text" option on the outgoing email settings tab and this timestamp will not be included in subsequent email notifications.

The notification may look something like this:

When the Notification Message Template preview doesn't show the underlined timestamp above (notice there's no timestamp placeholder above the red title):


This timestamp is inserted by the outgoing email notification setting "Suppress current time in the email message text":


Enable the "Suppress current time in the email message text" option on the outgoing email settings tab and this timestamp will not be included in subsequent email notifications (after a save and restart of the TopView Engine process, if necessary).
