Data path folders: what are they?
The data path of TopView holds configuration and usage
information, mainly. Here’s an individual explanation for each of the folders:
- API_Configuration:
Contains examples and documentation for the Configuration API
- Audit: Stores
configuration file backups and change information
- CONFIG: Stores TopView
engine configuration files
- CustomDS: Examples,
documentation, and artifacts for Custom Data Sources which allow TopView
to monitor other data sources
- EventHooks: Examples,
documentation, and artifacts for Event Hooks which allow users to define
custom notifications and processes based on events in TopView
- HTML: The default output
folder for HTML snapshot reports
- Log: Application, alarm,
and other logs for tracking TopView engine activities
- RemView: Contains the
Remote Viewer client application
- Reports: The default
output folder for TopView alarm reports
- RSS: The default output
folder for RSS output
- Snapshot: The default
output folder for CSV, or JSON, TopView snapshot reports
- Sounds: A folder for
TopView wav files used in notification, audible alarms, etc.
- SQL: Example data for
TopView’s SQL Lookup data source
- Temp: A temp folder
- Voice: Audio files used
in voice notifications
- WAV: Audio files
generated by TopView’s Text-To-Speech engine for voice notifications
